Bookings To secure your booking a $200 deposit is required. Also please complete the online booking selection form, sign and submit at least 7 days prior to the event. 2. Payments Deposit Payments can be made by Paypal, Credit Card or EFT. Balance payments can be made by Credit Card, Direct Deposit or Cash on the Day. The balance must be paid in full at least 4 days before the date of your function. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you fail to make the necessary payments. In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs. 3. Final Guest Numbers Final numbers are to be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the date of your function. If the guest numbers change, you should notify us at least 7 days prior to the event. If guests cancel between 7 and 4 days prior to the event a 50% fee will apply. If your guests cancel within 3 days prior to the event, the entire amount is payable even if they are not attending. If your group falls below the minimum required number of guests, you will be asked to pay the minimum amount applicable to the package you have selected. 4. Refunds & Cancellations 4.1 The client may cancel a booking but will forfeit all booking deposits 4.2 Cancellations between 10 and 5 days prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the invoice. 4.3 Cancellations between 4 and 0 days prior to the event will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the invoice. 4.4 The client can select how to settle the cancellation fee of the invoice. 4.5 High Tea Delights will refund the entire amount you have paid to us if for any unforeseeable reason we are unable to provide our services. This clause does not cover client initiated cancellations. 4.6 The above cancellation charges compensate for loss of assumed as well other potential income on specified date, and also other costs incurred such as food, labour and administration. 4.7 Should High Tea Delights be unable to provide the service (or part of) due to extenuating and unforeseen circumstances, clients may not make any claim other than a full refund of deposit. 5. Delivery and Parking fees - All High Tea Packages qualify for free delivery and collection 20 km radius from Bexley NSW. (Based on Google Maps) - Deliveries and collections beyond the 20 km are charged at $2 per kilometre thereafter plus tolls. Parking space must be provided for delivery and collection. If you are unable to provide parking and street parking is not available, we will use a pay station. You are required to cover the parking fees. Parking fees are payable directly to our delivery team or charged to your nominated credit card. 6. Credit Card Bond A valid credit card is required for security. There will be no charges to your credit card unless in case of cancellation in accordance with paragraph 4, or in the unlikely event of damages. If you elect to pay a damage bond in cash and the value of lost/damaged items exceeds the cash bond, you will need to settle the difference by Credit Card or EFT. The damage bond will be refunded once all items have been collected, inspected and accounted for. If a lost item is found after the collection, it is your responsibility to return the item to our premises. The charges for each damaged or lost item are outlined in Paragraph 13. 7. Chargebacks If you believe you have been incorrectly charged you should speak to us first. False credit card details and chargebacks to avoid paying for rendered services or for damaged items will be treated as fraud. 8. Cleaning of China and Silverware Our china is valuable, old and rare. Leftover tea and food can cause permanent stains. To avoid that, we ask you to rinse the crockery and utensils under cold water right after your high tea. No liquids, tea or food should be present on the crockery upon collection. Please do not put our crockery and utensils in the dishwasher because it will destroy the delicate material. 9. Delivery and Collection - High Tea Delights will deliver & setup the day prior to your function or on the day of the function according to the arrangements made between us and the client. All hire items will be collected at the end of each function or on the next day as per the arrangements made between you and High Tea Delights. - Pickups on Sundays after 5:30pm are surcharged at $50 (groups up to 30 guests) or $100 (groups over 30 guests) due to the increased cost of labour on Sundays after 5pm. - High Tea Delights does not provide a rubbish removal service. Clients are advised to make their own arrangements. 10. Food quality Our food is prepared by qualified staff in a professional kitchen using the freshest ingredients. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure our food exceeds all health requirements & quality standards. 11. Food allergies It is your responsibility and the responsibility of your guests to disclose any food allergies. If you or any of your guests suffer from food allergies they should not consume the food that we provide. 12. Damaged items All goods hired are the responsibility of the hirer from the time of delivery/collection until they are returned to High Tea Delights. You agree that any losses, damage or breakages will be charged to the credit card provided by the hirer as per section 4B. The Hirer shall protect the equipment during the time of delivery, use, storage or waiting period before pick-up. Any person signing the documents for and on behalf of the Hirer hereby covenants with the Owner that he/she has the authority of the Hirer to make this agreement on the Hirer’s behalf and is empowered by the Hirer to bind the Hirer to this agreement. 13. Replacement Schedule Breakages are not common but sometimes accidents do happen. The replacement cost of any damaged or breakage to hired items will be charged to the client. Unfortunately any breakage to a tea trio (cup, saucer or cake plate) or a set (sugar bowl/milk jug) means it can no longer be used as a set so the whole set must be replaced. Items not listed below are generally charged at 5 times the hire price. • Tea Spoons, Cake Forks, Sugar Tongs,: $10 per piece • Champagne Glass: $5 a piece - Crystal pink Champagne Glass: $10 a piece • Dessert Knife, Dessert Fork, Dessert Spoon, Cake Tongs: $20 per piece • Tea Cup, Saucer, Milk Jug, Sugar Bowl, Side Plate, Tablecloth: $30 per piece • Teapot, Cake Stand, Serving Platter, Sandwich or Cake Plate: $50 per piece • Royal Albert Teapot: $100 - Royal Albert Cake Stand: $60 per piece • Royal Albert Teacup, Saucer, Cake Plate, Sugar Bowl or Milk Jug: $60 per piece • Miscellaneous items: POA (Please ask) 14. Liability Our products and services are provided to the best of our ability and like all other business, we rely upon vehicles, weather & traffic conditions, as well as information and facts you provide. We will make all reasonable efforts to complete the agreed supply of products and services within the time estimate that we agreed upon. However, we shall not be held liable for any loss or damage suffered because of any unavoidable or reasonable delay in completion due to unforeseeable reasons outlined above, including your failure to deliver items such as payments, documents or information. 15. Privacy of Information All the information you provide to High Tea Delights remain private and confidential. We will never share or exchange your information with any third party. We do not store clients' credit cards. Your credit card number is required for Balance payments & Security Bond for the china you receive and will be discarded after your booking has concluded.Excellent Choice!
